Sept. 15-17 | American Craft Exposition

The 33rd annual weekend-long fair kicks off with a preview party Sept. 14 — when guests can purchase one-of-a-kind pieces prior to the show’s opening — benefiting research at NorthShore Orthopaedic Institute. Sept. 16 | Get IN It Music Fest

The inaugural all-day music festival features performances from hot hip-hop, pop and R&B artists like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, DNCE (pictured), Fifth Harmony and Chicago’s own Lupe Fiasco. Sept. 19-23 | 'The Toad Knew'

From creator James Thierrée (“Farewell Umbrella,” “Bright Abyss”) comes a powerful production at The Yard, the newest stage for Navy Pier’s theater company.
